Rojer Halfgrip, son of Kally and Jessum Inn of Riverbridge, born 315 AR, is one of the POV characters in The Painted Man and The Desert Spear.

BiographyEdit

Early LifeEdit

Rojer is originally from Riverbridge , his parents were Kally and Jessum , who owned an inn. One night a messenger named Geral and the Duke's Herald Arrick took refuge. While dancing around to Arrick's fiddle playing corelings invaded the inn, Jessum and Geral tried to hold them off but it was futile. In the meanwhile Arrick ran for the bolthole with his bag of marvals and Kally begged him to take Rojer, shoving him into his arms, but when Rojer reached out to grab his mother, demons jumped atop her and one got a few of Rojer's fingers.
