Steave Cutter, father to Gared Cutter, was the first love of Leesha's mother, Elona Paper, and kept a sexual relationship even after Elona was married to Ernal.
Despite his good looks and apple many disliked him for his lack of respect and all (except Elona) believed he was a bad influence on his only son Gared.
Unfortunately Steave died from the Flux whenever it spread throughout Cutter's Hollow.
